Cook – Full‑time position in Nairobi

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cook to join our kitchen team in Upper Hill, Nairobi. The successful candidate will prepare and present meals that meet our quality standards while supporting a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and plate meals according to approved recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in menu planning, daily food production and ingredient preparation (washing, chopping, marinating, measuring).
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and proper storage of the kitchen, equipment and food items.
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures and stock levels, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene and health‑and‑safety policies at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff, respond to special dietary requests and provide courteous service.

Required profile

• Certificate in Food Production, Culinary Arts or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in a restaurant, hotel or commercial kitchen.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet service deadlines.
