Copywriter – Creative Marketing Content

About the role

We are looking for a talented Copywriter to join our marketing team in Nairobi. You will create compelling written content that supports our brand, drives engagement and helps convert prospects into customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative copy for campaigns, ads, brochures, flyers, newsletters and other promotional materials.
• Write engaging social‑media posts that reflect the brand voice and marketing goals.
• Produce website copy, landing pages, blog articles, product descriptions and email marketing content.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and design teams to deliver integrated communication assets.
• Research industry trends, competitors and customer needs to ensure relevance and accuracy.
• Proofread, edit and revise content for grammar, clarity and brand consistency.
• Craft headlines, slogans, calls‑to‑action and campaign concepts that boost engagement.
• Apply SEO best practices to improve online visibility and search rankings.
• Monitor content performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Support employer branding by creating recruitment and internal communication content.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Public Relations, Journalism, Communication, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience as a copywriter or content writer.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Strong research and storytelling skills.
• Ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and channels.
