Costing Estimator – Offset Printing (Kinshasa)

About the role

We are seeking a mature and motivated Costing Estimator to join our offset and digital printing business serving the Kinshasa market. The role combines cost accounting, client liaison and production coordination to ensure accurate quotations and smooth workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate printing quotations and job cost estimates in collaboration with the General Manager.
• Maintain and update costing templates reflecting material, labor and machine cost changes.
• Act as the first point of contact for clients, communicating requirements, approvals and updates to the production team.
• Track job progress from pre‑press to delivery, alerting management of any delays or quality issues.
• Produce daily/weekly progress reports, archive cost sheets and production logs.
• Provide administrative support to the General Manager, including meeting scheduling, minute taking and supplier communication.
• Oversee the costing department, tender document preparation and quotation submission.
• Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of printing machines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) experience as a cost accountant in the printing or manufacturing sector.
• Degree in printing, commerce or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership qualities and ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Technical understanding of offset and digital printing processes.
