Creative Producer / Director

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Creative Producer / Director to shape and execute our brand’s content strategy across multiple digital platforms. Based in Nairobi’s Westlands district, you will lead the creation of compelling visual stories that align with our advertising and communications objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the overall content strategy, defining pillars, tone, visual identity and long‑term brand direction.
• Identify story opportunities from daily business activities, meetings and current affairs.
• Shoot all photography and videography, set up locations, equipment, lighting and audio without relying on external crews.
• Edit footage and images to a high standard, ensuring consistency with brand tone.
• Manage production and publishing on TikTok, Instagram, X and YouTube, maintaining a rolling content calendar.
• Optimize each piece for platform‑specific formats, hooks, titles, thumbnails and keywords.
• Monitor performance analytics and refine creative approaches based on data.
• Maintain a well‑labelled archive of raw and finished assets.
• Stay ahead of platform updates, cultural trends and digital storytelling formats.
• Prepare concise reports on audience growth, sentiment and content performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Film, Media Studies, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in content creation, video production or creative direction, preferably for personal or corporate brands.
• Strong judgment and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential material.
• Ability to work independently, push back on ideas when necessary and protect brand consistency.
