Credit Analyst – AMEA Region

About the role

We are seeking a motivated finance professional to lead the Credit Analyst function for the AMEA region at HMD. Reporting to the AMEA CFO, you will work closely with the global credit team and local operations to ensure effective credit management and timely cash collection across our diverse markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer credit limits and support finance solutions, ensuring validity and adequacy.
• Collect receivables, perform daily analysis of account status, and follow up on payments.
• Conduct credit checks in the Sales ERP, request exception approvals, and release orders.
• Maintain accurate customer master data in the ERP system.
• Coordinate collateral issuance and renewal with the Global Credit team.
• Handle finance incentive calculations, refund assessments, and cash‑flow management for IHL business models.
• Generate customer statements of account on a weekly or bi‑weekly basis and communicate payment shortfalls.
• Submit clearing instructions, track disputes, and ensure timely resolution.
• Run compliance reports, manage documentation filing, and support internal and external audit requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a credit function within a global environment.
• Strong understanding of credit management, collections, and ERP processes.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across regions.
