Customer Care Intern

About the role

The Customer Care Intern will support Takataka Solutions in delivering high‑quality client service within the hospitality sector. Working from our Westlands office, you will assist the customer care team in onboarding, communication, and issue tracking for new and existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain onboarding trackers for client training, contracts, and sensitive client groups.
• Prepare and send welcome packs and introductory emails to new clients.
• Post daily updates for new and sensitive clients in the designated group.
• Conduct follow‑up calls and surveys two weeks after the first collection.
• Support physical or online induction training for new clients.
• Process and track client requests for items such as compost, gate signs, bins, and certificates.
• Respond to client queries received via WhatsApp and log them in appropriate trackers.
• Assist with customer satisfaction surveys, courtesy calls, and client visits.
• Download call reports, return missed calls, and manage outbound communications.
• Communicate collection delays and missed collections to clients daily.
• Help maintain the contract database and ensure proper filing of client contracts.
• Log service delivery issues, monitor client concerns, and support termination request handling.
• Participate in outdoor events and act as account manager for assigned client accounts.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Business Studies, Communication, Public Relations or a related field.
• Previous experience in customer care or client support is an advantage.
