Customer Service Executive – Freight Forwarding & Logistics

About the role

The Customer Service Executive will act as the primary liaison between our clients and the freight forwarding operation, ensuring smooth communication and timely updates throughout the shipping process. This role is essential for maintaining high levels of client satisfaction in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries, quotations, and service requests.
• Coordinate with Operations, Customs Clearance, Transport, Warehousing, and Sales teams to guarantee seamless shipment execution.
• Provide regular shipment status updates, manage delays, and resolve issues within agreed timelines.
• Handle customer complaints, monitor satisfaction levels, and nurture long‑term relationships.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipment documentation and customer records.
• Support the sales team by identifying opportunities to improve customer retention.
• Generate customer reports and service performance updates as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of customer service experience in freight forwarding, shipping, clearing & forwarding, or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of import/export documentation and freight forwarding processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure with high attention to detail.
