Customer Solution Engineer – Product

About the role

The Customer Solution Engineer – Product acts as the technical bridge between KONE’s product portfolio and customer requirements. Based in Casablanca, you will translate client needs into detailed product specifications, guide engineering work through to hand‑over, and support sales, field operations and maintenance teams throughout the delivery process.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to identify the optimal KONE product for non‑standard and special‑engineering projects.
• Select the appropriate product platform, ensure offers are competitive and aligned with customer specifications.
• Develop detailed product plans, including cost estimations, material specifications, energy calculations and simple traffic analyses.
• Conduct technical site surveys and manage the technical content of orders from MS 0b to MS 2z.
• Coordinate lead times with supply line and local sourcing, ensuring product availability.
• Validate installability, assess installation effort and cost, and incorporate these factors into product plans.
• Guarantee maintainability by addressing lifecycle requirements and identifying deviations from standard maintenance methods.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, environmental standards and KONE engineering guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of how customer needs translate into product‑specific requirements.
• Experience handling non‑standard engineering cases and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Analytical mindset with ability to perform cost, energy and traffic analyses.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to support sales, field operations and maintenance teams.
