Customer Solution Engineer - Product

About the role

KONE is looking for an energetic Customer Solution Engineer – Product to provide technical expertise on optimal product solutions for our customers. Based in Nairobi, you will translate customer needs into product‑specific requirements and coordinate engineering work through to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to identify the best KONE product for non‑standard, special‑engineering cases.
• Develop detailed product plans, including costings, specifications, lead‑times and installability.
• Perform technical site surveys, energy calculations and simple traffic analyses.
• Ensure product compliance with codes, standards and contract specifications.
• Support the front‑line CSE team, field operations and sales during order management and delivery.

Required profile

• Entry‑level (up to 2 years of relevant experience).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Good communication skills to work with sales, engineering and project teams.
