Customer Support Associate - German

About the role

The Customer Support Associate will join Assent’s Support team to obtain declarations and critical compliance information from suppliers in client supply chains. You will communicate with suppliers in German and English via email, phone and webinars, ensuring high‑quality documentation and a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Contact suppliers through multi‑channel outreach (emails, calls, conference calls) to gather compliance data and assist with requests.
• Handle inbound supplier calls, troubleshoot issues, and guide them through compliance processes.
• Engage unresponsive suppliers via outbound calls, education sessions and webinar invitations.
• Provide language support for internal translations, webinars and sales prospect calls.
• Collaborate with the Program Success team to develop strategies for new customers and supplier challenges.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
• Experience in administration, reporting, research, supplier/customer support or call‑centre environments.
• Strong time‑management ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Self‑starter with the capacity to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Google Applications.
