Cybersecurity Consultant – LLM Red‑Teamer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join a leading technology firm on a remote contract basis. The focus of the role is to perform red‑team testing on large language models (LLMs), identifying vulnerabilities and helping to improve model safety before public deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute red‑team strategies to uncover bias, toxicity, factual inaccuracies and other failure modes in LLM outputs.
• Develop both automated and manual testing frameworks that simulate adversarial attacks, including prompt injection and jailbreak techniques.
• Document findings in structured reports, highlighting risks and recommending concrete mitigations.
• Collaborate with AI safety researchers to refine testing protocols and stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Continuously monitor advances in AI security, prompt engineering and adversarial methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in adversarial testing of LLMs or similar AI systems.
• Strong background in cybersecurity principles as they apply to AI.
• Ability to analyze model outputs for bias, toxicity and hallucinations.
• Excellent written communication for clear reporting of vulnerabilities.

Required skills

• Python programming
• Familiarity with Hugging Face and PyTorch frameworks
• Adversarial testing and prompt engineering for LLMs
• AI security and cybersecurity fundamentals
