Data Analyst - Business (Remote)

About the role

We are hiring for a client, a global leader in software development and data infrastructure, to work remotely as a Business Data Analyst on a contract basis. The analyst will turn complex data sets into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on large datasets to uncover trends and patterns.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate key metrics and insights.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Generate ad‑hoc reports and visualizations to support decision‑making across departments.
• Validate data accuracy and consistency through quality checks.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
