Data Analyst – Google Cloud Ecosystem

About the role

Jiwambe is seeking a Data Analyst to turn large volumes of operational data into actionable insights. You will build dashboards, automate reporting, and help leaders understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what actions to take.

Key responsibilities

• Write, optimise and troubleshoot complex SQL queries in BigQuery.
• Extract, clean and aggregate large datasets while maintaining data quality and performance.
• Design and maintain executive‑ready dashboards in Looker Studio.
• Use advanced Google Sheets functions (QUERY, pivot tables, live data integrations) for operational analysis.
• Connect Google Sheets, BigQuery and reporting workflows to automate manual processes.
• Document data dictionaries, metric definitions and analytical logic.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analysis.

Required profile

• Strong experience with SQL and BigQuery.
• Proven ability to build sophisticated, visually compelling Looker Studio dashboards.
• Highly proficient in Google Sheets, including advanced formulas and data manipulation.
• Comfortable working across the Google Workspace ecosystem.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong instinct for data quality.
