Data Science Consultant Trainer

About the role

TrainingCred Institute is looking for experienced data scientists to design and deliver practical, engaging training programmes in data science, statistical analysis and machine learning. You will work with the training team to understand client needs, customise course materials and facilitate learning through coding exercises, case studies and applied projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assess training needs, identify participants' technical backgrounds and learning objectives, and define suitable prerequisites.
• Develop practical training materials including outlines, presentations, notebooks, datasets, coding exercises and assessments.
• Deliver engaging classroom, virtual or client‑site sessions using demonstrations, guided coding and hands‑on projects.
• Guide participants through the full data‑science workflow from problem definition to result communication.
• Provide feedback, evaluate progress and update content to reflect the latest tools and methods.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.).
• At least three years of professional experience in data science, machine learning or applied statistical analysis.
• Proven experience delivering technical training or workshops to professional audiences.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt complex concepts for learners of varying levels.

Required skills

• Python or R programming, including relevant data‑science libraries.
• SQL and database querying.
• Statistical methods, hypothesis testing and experimental design.
• Machine learning, predictive modelling, model evaluation and MLOps.
• Time‑series analysis, NLP, deep learning, computer vision and generative AI.
• Data visualisation and communication of analytical findings.
