Demand Planning Officer – Warehouse & Logistics

About the role

M-KOPA is seeking a Demand Planning Officer to support its Warehouse and Logistics team as the business scales. The role focuses on demand planning, inventory replenishment, purchase order coordination and supplier follow‑up to ensure timely supply of materials for operations.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage and track purchase orders for production, projects and supply‑chain activities.
• Liaise with suppliers to secure timely deliveries, resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels, trigger replenishment actions and reduce stock‑outs or excess stock.
• Enter and update order details in the integrated supply‑chain system, ensuring accurate pricing, quantities and delivery schedules.
• Analyse sales trends and demand patterns to inform forecasting, safety stock and inventory planning.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Statistics, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, procurement coordination or supply‑chain operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience using integrated supply‑chain systems for order and inventory management.
