Deputy Principal – Junior School

About the role

We seek a leader who will provide strong academic, spiritual, administrative and strategic leadership while advancing the Catholic and Lasallian mission of the school. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for academic excellence, character formation, discipline, innovation, staff development and the holistic development of learners.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and oversee the Competency‑Based Curriculum (CBC) in the Junior School.
• Supervise, mentor and support teachers to ensure effective classroom practice.
• Monitor learner progress, identify learning needs and coordinate assessments.
• Coordinate Junior School activities, programmes and examinations.
• Engage with parents and guardians to support learner welfare and discipline.
• Promote child safeguarding and uphold learner welfare policies.

Required profile

• Practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to the Catholic and Lasallian values.
• Minimum two years experience in a comparable school leadership role.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Deep knowledge of the CBC and competency‑based assessment.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise, mentor and motivate staff.
• Computer literacy and ability to use technology for school administration.
