Direct Sales Representative

About the role

The Direct Sales Representative will support a banking client by identifying new business opportunities, acquiring customers, and driving sales growth across multiple Kenyan cities. The role requires strong sales acumen, excellent customer engagement, and the ability to manage relationships independently. You will be responsible for opening accounts, promoting digital products, and achieving deposit and loan targets while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Actively participate in quality account opening for new customers.
• Cross‑sell the bank’s digital products to existing and new clients.
• Deliver set targets on deposit mobilization and loan disbursement for individuals and businesses.
• Provide excellent customer service and creatively engage customers on various bank products.
• Implement retention strategies, sensitize customers on the product portfolio, and gather feedback for improvement.
• Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly business reports with the supervisor.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
• Demonstrable experience in sales, preferably within the banking sector.
• Strong sales, customer engagement, and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently, build a healthy sales pipeline, and consistently meet targets.
