Director, Resource Allocation

About the role

The Director, Resource Allocation will lead the strategic deployment of capital and operating spend across Coca‑Cola’s Africa operations. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure that investments are aligned with the company’s value‑creation goals and that resources are continuously re‑allocated to the highest‑impact initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with all functions to decide where to invest resources, aligning spend with strategic priorities.
• Assess, track and report ROI and ROIC, driving timely course‑corrections for under‑performing projects.
• Maintain a dynamic view of business needs and resource availability to support agile decision‑making.
• Lead a robust resource‑governance model, providing clear decision rights, transparency and accountability.
• Embed a financial discipline culture, educating teams on capital efficiency and ROIC‑driven decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Africa OU policies and align processes with regional standards.
• Collaborate with the Finance Hub to deploy and adopt corporate planning and performance tools across the region.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Strategy, Insights or Performance Management.
• Proven ability to execute complex, end‑to‑end initiatives with high‑quality delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of preparing clear, structured materials.
• Solid project‑management experience coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in data digitalisation, automation and performance reporting with a focus on data quality.
