Director, Technology Operations

About the role

CloudFactory is seeking a Director of Technology Operations to lead its IT infrastructure, service delivery and technology operations on a nine‑month fixed‑term basis. The role carries executive accountability for the company’s technology operating model, disaster‑recovery, security and compliance programmes, as well as ownership of the IT Operations budget and P&L.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive sponsorship and governance of the infrastructure strategy and investment roadmap, approving data‑centre investments, hardware refreshes and network architecture changes.
• Ensure the on‑premise estate is rationalised and aligned with CloudFactory’s cloud‑first strategy.
• Oversee domain portfolio, security programme and certificate management, approving material changes to domain security policy.
• Define and govern SaaS platform strategy, vendor management and application portfolio rationalisation, approving major SaaS procurements and strategic contracts.
• Hold ultimate accountability for disaster‑recovery and business continuity planning.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in managing large‑scale IT operations and infrastructure.
• Responsibility for budgeting, P&L ownership and strategic investment decisions.
• Strong governance experience across security, compliance and disaster‑recovery programmes.
• Ability to lead and develop senior managers and cross‑functional technology teams.
