Drilling Technician – Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Drilling Technician to join our construction team in Westlands, Nairobi. The role involves operating and maintaining drilling equipment on site, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Operate drilling rigs and related machinery according to project specifications.
• Follow established drilling procedures and adhere to all safety standards.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate with senior staff for corrective actions.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and collaborate closely with the site crew.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in drilling or a closely related field.
• Certificate or Diploma in a relevant technical discipline.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environments.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Operating drilling equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of drilling procedures and safety standards.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and basic equipment maintenance.
