Driver (Distribution Truck/Van)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable driver to operate our distribution van or truck in Nairobi. The role involves delivering products to customers on assigned routes while ensuring safety and punctuality.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a company distribution van or truck for product deliveries.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Load, transport, and unload goods, maintaining product quality and preventing damage.
• Verify delivery documentation and obtain proof of delivery from customers.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Comply with traffic laws, company transport policies, and health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence for commercial vehicles.
• At least two years of experience driving distribution vans or trucks.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and safe driving practices.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
