Electrical & Electronic Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Electronic Engineer to join our team in Nairobi. You will lead the design, integration, and optimisation of large‑scale electrical and electronic systems for commercial, industrial and public‑sector projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical and electronic system designs, including site assessments, load calculations, circuit layouts and component selection.
• Apply advanced engineering principles to address power distribution, energy efficiency, hardware‑software integration and control‑system challenges.
• Oversee installation and operational phases, ensuring optimal performance through data analysis, troubleshooting and continuous upgrades.
• Prepare, review and submit technical documentation and permits to meet national and international standards.
• Identify technical risks, propose mitigation strategies and contribute to cost modelling, budgeting and financial analysis.
• Act as a technical liaison, communicating engineering concepts, timelines and metrics to internal teams, clients and contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Registered member with a valid practicing licence from the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
• Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in electrical and electronic engineering, with a proven track record on large‑scale projects.
