Electrical Engineer – Installations & Maintenance

About the role

The company is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join its team in Nairobi. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of electrical systems across its projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain electrical installations, including fire alarm, CCTV, solar, electric fencing and satellite systems.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to support project delivery.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience in electrical installations and maintenance.
• Proven experience with fire alarm systems, CCTV, solar power installations, electric alarm fencing and satellite communication systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
