Engagement Delivery Lead – Technology Transformation

About the role

KPMG is seeking an Engagement Delivery Lead to drive day‑to‑day delivery of technology transformation projects across Africa. Reporting to the Program Director, you will act as the primary on‑site manager, ensuring engagements are delivered on time, within scope and to KPMG’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily delivery of assigned technology engagements, maintaining delivery plans and tracking milestones.
• Lead stand‑ups, sprint reviews and weekly engagement reviews, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
• Maintain accurate RAID logs and escalate risks or issues to the Program Director.
• Interact with client stakeholders at the project level, facilitating workshops and presenting deliverables.
• Monitor financials daily, tracking hours, expenses and budget variances.
• Review and approve client‑facing deliverables, enforce scope control and coordinate with Architecture Leads on design decisions.
• Apply KPMG delivery methodology, templates and governance frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to reuse assets and accelerators to improve efficiency.
• Coach junior team members on delivery management and client engagement.

Required profile

• Senior Manager‑level experience in technology delivery or transformation projects.
• Proven ability to manage teams, track progress against plans and protect project scope.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to clients.
• Experience monitoring project financials and managing budgets.
• Ability to coach and develop junior consultants.
