Entry Level Electrical Engineer (Engineer II)

About the role

Sports Kenya is seeking an entry‑level Electrical Engineer (Engineer II) to join its facilities team in Kasarani, Nairobi. The role focuses on maintaining and upgrading the electrical infrastructure of sports venues and related buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and service electrical installations including offices, sheds, floodlights, CCTV, access control, HVAC, refrigeration, solar power plant, UPS, fire alarm and integrated security systems.
• Prepare, update and archive electrical drawings for all stadium installations.
• Conduct site inspections and implement preventive‑maintenance and major‑breakdown plans.
• Report equipment failures, coordinate breakdown repairs and ensure reliable power supply.
• Perform statutory inspections and support certification of electrical installations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional membership with the Engineering Board of Kenya (EBK) or equivalent.
• Proficiency in computer applications for drafting and reporting.
