Excel Analyst (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Excel Analyst on a contract basis to support a global leader in the information services industry. The analyst will use Microsoft Excel to clean, transform, and visualise data, helping business units make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Extract and organise data from multiple sources into structured Excel reports.
• Perform data cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Create pivot tables, charts, and dashboards to present key metrics.
• Analyse data trends to assist business decision‑making processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting in Excel.
• Ability to clean, transform, and validate large datasets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
• Familiarity with basic statistical analysis techniques.
