Excel Analyst (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Excel Analyst to support a global leader in the Information Services industry. The role focuses on extracting, cleaning, and visualising data using Microsoft Excel to drive business decisions. You will work on a contract basis, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Extract and consolidate data from multiple sources into structured Excel reports.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure accuracy.
• Create pivot tables, charts, and interactive dashboards to highlight key metrics.
• Analyse trends and patterns to support strategic decision‑making.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and present findings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis and reporting using Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large datasets.
• Familiarity with basic statistical analysis techniques.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel – advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables, charts, and dashboards.
• Basic statistical analysis.
