Experienced Plumber – Installation & Maintenance

About the role

Rana Team Services Ltd is seeking a skilled plumber to join its Westlands team in Nairobi. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of water‑related systems for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install piping, fixtures, pumps, control panels and water‑heating equipment to design specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing water systems, including borehole and pressure pump setups.
• Fabricate and install support structures for water storage tanks.
• Design, install and manage complex water distribution networks.
• Install irrigation and drip‑irrigation systems, dam lining, and swimming‑pool plumbing.
• Apply specialised pipe‑fusion techniques such as PPR fusion, HDPE welding and solvent welding.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnostics on pumps, filtration units and borehole projects.
• Coordinate on‑site with engineering teams, ensure compliance with local standards and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Craft Certificate in Plumbing from a recognised technical institute.
• Minimum 24 months of proven experience with borehole systems, pressure pumps and water reticulation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow design specifications.
