Female Resource Mobilizer

About the role

The Female Resource Mobilizer will lead efforts to secure funding and build strategic partnerships for our programmes. This role combines fundraising, grant writing and business development to expand our resource base.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure funding opportunities from donors, foundations, corporates and development partners.
• Develop and submit high‑quality grant proposals and funding applications.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and reports for donors and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners, ensuring long‑term collaboration.
• Maintain a database of prospects, donors and funding pipelines.
• Monitor donor regulations, ensure compliance and report on funding performance.
• Analyse funding trends and advise on strategic fundraising approaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Development Studies, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Project Management or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in fundraising, business development, resource mobilization, grant writing or partnership development.
• Proven track record of securing funding and managing donor relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational and independent‑working abilities.
• Knowledge of donor regulations and fundraising strategies is an added advantage.
