Field Architect – Site Quality Assurance

About the role

The company is looking for a meticulous Field Architect to join the Jabali Towers site team. This hands‑on position ensures that the architectural design intent is faithfully executed on‑site, from the building envelope to the finest interior finishes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the on‑site custodian of design intent, conducting daily inspections of façade, curtain wall, waterproofing, blockwork, plastering and interior finishes.
• Implement and enforce the project QA/QC programme, manage material sample approvals and full‑scale mock‑ups.
• Review and approve contractor submittals, shop drawings, method statements and material data sheets.
• Identify and resolve design‑site discrepancies, coordinating changes with the lead architectural consultant.
• Coordinate with MEP and structural field engineers to ensure correct service penetrations and partition set‑outs.
• Champion safety for architectural works, ensuring compliance with Kenyan building codes and health‑safety plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an internationally recognised university.
• 10‑15 years of site‑based architectural experience on large‑scale, high‑rise projects with high‑end finishes.
• Proven track record working for major international main contractors.
