Field Sales Representative – Bomet (Kenya)

About the role

HomeBiogas is seeking a motivated Field Sales Representative to promote its waste‑to‑energy solutions among smallholder farmers in Bomet and surrounding rural communities. You will generate leads, close sales, and build lasting relationships while helping farmers access affordable renewable energy.

Key responsibilities

• Create product awareness through direct field visits, farmer group meetings, and local market activations.
• Identify, generate, and qualify sales leads within the assigned territory and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Conduct follow‑ups with prospects and convert qualified leads into confirmed sales.
• Explain product value and financing options clearly to support informed purchase decisions.
• Achieve and consistently exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Collect and submit accurate sales data, lead information, and field reports using provided tools.
• Represent HomeBiogas professionally, building trust and long‑term relationships within farming communities.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of B2C sales experience, preferably with smallholder farmers.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• At least 1 year of experience selling agricultural, clean‑energy, or asset‑based products.
• Fluency in the local language.
