Finance & Administration Manager – Uganda

About the role

The Finance & Administration Manager will lead financial planning, reporting and administrative functions for the Uganda operation of a hospitality group. Reporting to the Board and deputising for the Country Head, the role combines strategic finance, cost control and operational oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and control processes, ensuring accurate and timely management accounts and statutory reports.
• Prepare and present financial performance reports to the Board, highlighting trends, risks and growth opportunities.
• Establish budgetary controls, drive cost‑management initiatives and provide strategic financial insights for business expansion.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, vendor relationships and office administration to ensure value for money and compliance.
• Implement efficient documentation, record‑keeping and compliance systems, supporting ICT and governance processes.
• Deputise for the Country Head in client, stakeholder and regulatory engagements, representing Parapet Uganda.
• Lead finance and administration teams, fostering accountability, performance excellence and corporate governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or CFA is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of financial management and administration experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax laws, regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and complex operations.
• Experience in facilities management or the service/hospitality sector is an advantage.
