Finance Intern – SSA

About the role

Join Solar Panda as a Finance Intern supporting the SSA cluster. You will work closely with the Cluster Controller and SSA CFO to assist in financial reporting, analysis, and project coordination, gaining exposure to a fast‑growing energy company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and consolidating financial reports and management insights.
• Support financial planning, forecasting, and performance tracking across the cluster.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury, working capital, payables, and intercompany transactions.
• Collect, validate, and follow up on financial data with country finance teams.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing materials for the SSA CFO and senior leadership.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, and action tracking for finance reviews and governance workshops.
• Maintain project trackers, timelines, and status updates for finance transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across finance, strategy, and business functions.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects aimed at process standardisation and digitalisation.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional and external partners.
• Proactive attitude toward change management and process improvement.
• Effective decision‑making based on data analysis.
