Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function of our manufacturing operations in Nairobi. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting and cash management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
• Oversee general ledger entries, reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, consolidate departmental forecasts and develop rolling financial forecasts aligned with strategic objectives.
• Monitor cash flow, manage treasury activities and prepare cash flow forecasts to maintain adequate liquidity.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and effective credit control.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, implement audit recommendations and ensure compliance with tax laws, including VAT, PAYE and corporate tax.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Business Administration.
• Professional qualification such as CPA(K), ACCA or equivalent and membership with ICPAK or a recognized accounting body.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Kenyan tax regulations.
