Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the college’s financial operations, delivering accurate insight to senior leadership. This position ensures sound budgeting, cash‑flow oversight, statutory compliance and the protection of institutional resources.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and management accounts.
• Manage cash flow, perform reconciliations, coordinate payroll and produce regular financial reports.
• Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with Kenyan statutory obligations.
• Support internal and external audits and provide strategic financial guidance to college leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA(K), ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, budgeting, reporting and Kenyan tax requirements.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
