About the role
GoodVision Kenya is looking for a Finance Manager to lead the financial management of its projects. The role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, donor compliance and financial reporting to ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with donor requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage project finances from proposal development through close‑out, ensuring expenditures are properly budgeted, coded, authorized and documented.
- Monitor project spending against approved budgets, identify variances, risks and funding gaps, and provide financial advice to project and program teams.
- Lead the preparation of project budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow projections and conduct budget‑versus‑actual analysis.
- Ensure compliance with donor financial rules, prepare and review donor reports, and support donor audits.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, variance analyses and dashboards for management, donors and the Board.
- Implement and monitor financial controls and risk management procedures across projects.
