Finance Manager (Manufacturing and Construction)

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead financial strategy, planning and reporting for a manufacturing and construction business. The role ensures accurate financial statements, effective budgeting and compliance with tax and accounting standards while leveraging SAP for system optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, general ledger and payroll operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in line with GAAP/IFRS.
• Lead internal and external audits and maintain robust financial controls.
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts aligned with business objectives.
• Implement cost‑control measures and provide insights to improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and corporate policies.
• Supervise, mentor and evaluate finance staff.
• Drive process improvements and SAP system optimisation.
• Collaborate with senior management and operational teams to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, preferably in the cement or manufacturing sector.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and tax compliance.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
