Finance Manager – Remote, $100k/year

About the role

Trilogy is looking for a Finance Manager who will lead global finance operations while staying hands‑on with the core accounting work. This remote position blends management responsibility with deep technical involvement, ensuring finance outputs are accurate, efficient, and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Run day‑to‑day finance operations through a team of Senior Accountants, prioritising work by deadlines, business impact, dependencies and financial risk.
• Inspect finance dashboards, invoices, payments, reconciliations, control accounts, revenue and spend allocations to confirm accuracy and timeliness.
• Diagnose quality failures, identify root causes (data, system configuration, accounting treatment or process execution) and produce evidence‑based coaching to prevent recurrence.
• Identify and champion opportunities to apply AI, large language models and automation to eliminate manual work and boost speed and accuracy.
• Build and maintain a high‑performing finance operations team that consistently delivers accurate, timely results while reducing unnecessary manual effort.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Recognised professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience managing finance or accounting teams in a global or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to inspect detailed financial data and diagnose process breakdowns.
• Comfortable staying close to the technical work and stepping in hands‑on when critical deadlines arise.
