Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will provide strategic financial leadership and governance across the organisation, overseeing planning, budgeting, treasury, statutory compliance, reporting, risk management and commercial support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership and governance oversight.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports and management accounts.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Manage treasury functions and cash‑flow optimisation.
• Ensure tax and statutory compliance.
• Oversee risk management, internal controls and audit readiness.
• Support tendering processes and commercial negotiations.
• Assist business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• CPA (K) qualification and active ICPAK membership (mandatory).
• Additional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CFA, corporate governance or risk management are an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in multi‑business environments preferred.
