Finance Specialist

About the role

Fuzu Ltd is seeking a Finance Specialist to ensure strong financial stewardship for its AI Powered Job Connections Program. The role involves continuous monitoring, compliant expenditure tracking, and timely reporting to support transparent, accountable delivery of public‑benefit outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain a financial monitoring framework for the program.
• Track expenditure against budget lines, flag variances and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including budget vs actuals, burn rate, forecasts and explanatory notes.
• Support cash‑flow planning and align forecasts with activity plans.
• Review payment requests and supporting documentation for accuracy, allowability and completeness.
• Coordinate with procurement and administration to ensure value‑for‑money and documentation compliance.
• Maintain an organized digital and physical financial filing system for audit readiness.
• Assist internal and external financial reviews and audits, responding to queries and providing evidence packs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, templates and guidance for program staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business (or equivalent).
• Professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA preferred.
• 3–5+ years experience in grants/program finance or project accounting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, donor‑style reporting and audits.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
