Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will support the F&B Manager in delivering exceptional service across the hotel’s dining venues. You will lead a team of front‑of‑house staff, ensure compliance with Fairmont standards, and drive profitability through effective cost control and inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre‑shift meetings to communicate updates and expectations.
• Schedule staff, assign duties, and monitor performance on the floor.
• Train team members on food, beverage, and wine service standards.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels for wines, beverages, and supplies.
• Enforce proper service procedures and uphold Fairmont’s quality standards.
• Develop cost‑saving initiatives and assist in creating beverage promotions.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues to satisfaction.
• Execute cash handling procedures, generate revenue reports, and manage forecasting.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team‑motivation abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• In‑depth knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Ability to work flexibly across restaurant and kitchen areas.
