Front Office Supervisor

About the role

The Ngong Hills Hotel is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to lead its front desk team and ensure an outstanding guest experience. Based in Westlands, Nairobi, you will coordinate daily front office operations and work closely with housekeeping and other departments. This full‑time position offers the chance to develop your leadership skills in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily front office operations, including guest check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations and inquiries.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor cash handling, billing accuracy and prepare daily reports.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures and service standards.
• Manage staff scheduling and provide coaching to maintain high service quality.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a front office supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera PMS.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
