Fulfilment Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a Fulfilment Clerk to join our warehouse team in Nairobi. You will manage order processing, load planning and coordinate with transport and inventory teams to ensure timely dispatch.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and prioritize customer orders in HighJump WMS, validate readiness and release orders for fulfilment.
• Create load IDs, pool orders into vehicle loads and optimise routes and capacity.
• Release orders to RF guns, track picking progress and resolve picking exceptions.
• Assign pickers via WMS based on order size, zones and workload, and rebalance tasks as needed.
• Coordinate staging, verify pallets, generate pallet labels with load and route information.
• Allocate loading docks, communicate vehicle and driver details to operational teams.
• Maintain accurate real‑time WMS transactions for load creation, picker assignment, staging and dispatch readiness.
• Investigate and resolve fulfilment, staging, labelling, vehicle and WMS exceptions, escalating when required.
• Prepare daily fulfilment reports and liaise with Warehouse, Transport, Inventory, Security, Customer Service and Dispatch teams.

Required profile

• Diploma in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse fulfilment or outbound logistics.
• Practical experience with HighJump WMS or a similar warehouse management system.
• Experience using RF scanning technology.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and dispatch processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/WMS reporting.
