Full-time Waiter

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive waiter to join our restaurant team in Westlands, Nairobi. This full‑time position involves delivering excellent service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, escort them to their tables and present menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, noting any dietary restrictions.
• Enter orders promptly into the POS system and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve dishes and drinks, check on guest satisfaction, and handle any additional requests.
• Prepare accurate bills, process cash, card or mobile‑money payments, and issue receipts.
• Clear and reset tables quickly, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with inventory checks, restocking, and daily cleaning duties.
• Stay informed about menu items, specials and promotions, and use suggestive selling techniques.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to 2 years of experience in a hospitality setting.
• Strong communication skills and a courteous attitude toward guests.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
