Full-time Waiter

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic waiters to join our Sky Bistro Lounge team in Nairobi’s Westlands district. The role is full‑time and involves delivering high‑quality service to guests in a vibrant restaurant and lounge environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Promote and upsell menu items, specials and promotions.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience.
• Process bills and payments accurately.
• Maintain clean, organized tables and service areas.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Handle customer concerns courteously.
• Coordinate service with kitchen and bar staff.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience as a waiter in a reputable restaurant.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Neat, professional attitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Team‑oriented, reliable, punctual and honest.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Certificate in food & beverage service or hospitality (advantageous).

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
