Garage Supervisor

About the role

The Garage Supervisor will lead a busy automotive workshop, ensuring high‑quality repairs, safety compliance, and efficient workflow. This senior‑level position requires hands‑on technical expertise and strong team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of workshop staff.
• Allocate jobs, manage workloads and meet productivity targets.
• Maintain the highest quality standards for all work performed.
• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Mentor, train and support technicians and apprentices.
• Monitor equipment, tools and resources for proper maintenance and usage.
• Liaise with management and other departments on workflow, parts and scheduling.
• Assist with diagnostics, repairs or other technical tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience managing a busy workshop.
• Hands‑on experience with vehicle diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to lead a team and oversee workshop operations.
• Valid driving licence covering Classes A, B, C & E.
