General Maintenance Technician (Laundry & Kitchen Equipment Specialist)

About the role

The General Maintenance Technician (Laundry & Kitchen Equipment Specialist) ensures that all laundry and kitchen equipment at the hotel operates safely and efficiently. You will support the engineering team, perform preventive maintenance, and respond quickly to any equipment issues to guarantee a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all laundry and kitchen equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition at all times.
• Carry out preventive maintenance schedules and periodic testing of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and MEP installations.
• Supervise mechanical technicians, monitor their working hours, and ensure quality workmanship.
• Control material usage, minimize waste, and advise on store inventory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards set by the Chief Engineer.
