General Technician

About the role

Rope Engineering Ltd is a medium‑sized workshop located in Nairobi’s Industrial Area. We are looking for a versatile General Technician to support daily operations across mechanical, electrical and light construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of pumps and related equipment.
• Carry out fabrication, machining and light construction tasks as required.
• Assist with the installation and servicing of mechanical systems for various client industries.
• Support the workshop team in ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience in a mechanical or workshop environment.
• Commercially oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Flexibility to handle diverse tasks across multiple trades.
