Geography Teacher – Full‑time

About the role

Oshwal Academy, a private international school offering the British curriculum, is seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join its dynamic team in Westlands, Nairobi. The successful candidate will deliver engaging geography lessons to students from primary through secondary levels, preparing them for examinations and fostering a deep understanding of the subject.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver geography lessons in line with the British National Curriculum.
• Prepare students for exams, conduct assessments, and grade work accurately.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Develop and administer educational tests and assessments.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Geography or related field (B.Ed. preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in geography.
• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
• Experience with the British National Curriculum is an advantage.
