About the role
Oshwal Academy, a private international school delivering the British curriculum from preschool to Year 13, is seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join its dynamic Nairobi campus. The successful candidate will deliver engaging geography lessons to secondary students and contribute to the school’s academic excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess geography lessons in line with the British National Curriculum.
- Prepare students for examinations, conduct grading and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Administer educational testing and record-keeping accurately.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in Geography or related subject (B.Ed. preferred).
- Minimum of four years teaching experience in geography.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) of Kenya.
- Experience with the British National Curriculum is an advantage.
